Abstract

The development of this integrated information system for water resources management in Lampung Province addresses a critical gap in the current system, where data storage methods have traditionally been siloed and inefficient. By creating a unified platform, this system allows for more efficient data collection, storage, and distribution, making it easier for stakeholders—such as government agencies, water resource managers, and environmental groups—to access and utilize up-to-date information. The use of black box testing scenarios in the User Acceptance Testing process ensures that the system functions as intended from the perspective of the user, without the need to delve into the system's internal workings. This approach helped identify any usability issues early on, allowing for targeted improvements. The inclusion of GIS allows for the spatial representation of water resources data, which is particularly useful for analyzing regional water distribution, identifying areas of concern, and supporting informed decision-making regarding water management. Ultimately, the system's iterative development process, guided by feedback from real users, resulted in a robust and reliable platform. The final UAT results demonstrate that the system is not only technically sound but also aligned with the needs of its users, paving the way for its effective implementation in managing the water resources of Lampung Province.
