Abstract

A sports match requires several key elements: participants, referees or judges, a match system, a scheme, and a venue. This study focuses on the match scheme, which is crucial for scheduling competitions among participants. Traditionally, match schemes are created during a technical meeting (TM) before the event, which can be time-consuming and inefficient, especially if adverse conditions prevent attendance. This research proposes a web-based system developed using Extreme Programming (XP) to address these issues, resulting in a user-friendly knockout match system. The system's effectiveness is validated by high user satisfaction rates, significantly streamlining the planning process. The success obtained in the development of this system is evidenced by the presence of statistical data which shows the level of user satisfaction with a total average of 83.74%, which falls into the "Very Good" category.
